Ann was involved in the work of the Irish National Organisation of the Unemployed (INOU) for over 30 years. During this period Ann served on the National Executive Committee and the Officers Board, including as Chairperson for many years. Ann was a tireless and fearless advocate for unemployed people. She was highly regarded and respected throughout the organisation and beyond and her enormous contribution to the work of the INOU is impossible to measure. Ann will be sadly missed by her many friends and colleagues in the organisation. We extend our deepest sympathies to Ann’s family on this terrible loss. May she rest in peace.
