We are so sorry to hear, belatedly, of Ann's passing. Her practice was next door to us in Sandymount. As our solicitor, we benefitted from her professionalism, wisdom, and great good sense. As our neighbour, we enjoyed many friendly chats. She was kindly, had a wonderful sense of humour and great zest for life. Sincere condolences to Shaymus and family, and to her colleagues.

It is with sadness I offer my condolences to Ann’s husband Shaymus and children Ben and Grace and to Ann’s sisters Maria and Kathy and brother Francis. I am thankful for wonderful childhood memories when Ann and I were pals and her Dad, Martin’s, hand-crafted boat was our magic kingdom. And my first ever trip to Galway was to Aughrim with Ann and Martin to visit Ann’s Granny. She welcomed us into her kitchen and to a feast of summer foods beautifully laid out for us. It was a perfect day and it has made a special place in my mind and heart. I hope warm memories of Ann’s love, kindness, creativity and affection will help you all through a world without her.
