I am so sad and heart broken to hear about Ann💔
I remember her in so many different ways, she was my manager in McCanns, who became a very close friend and support for me living abroad and starting a family.
I can still hear her voice from our last phonecall in March saying "Its so lovely to hear your voice Sara, it feels like old times".
Thinking of you all, and especially Shane who was her everything❤️

I was so very sorry to hear of Ann's passing. Ann made a huge impression when she worked with us in Pinsent Masons. Ann was so full of fun and energy, and she was so proud of Shane. The funeral was a lovely tribute to Ann and hopefully gave some comfort to Shane and the rest of the family. May Ann rest in peace.

I remember fondly and with love my time spent living directly underneath Ann and Shane’s apartment in Rosemount, our impromptu glasses of wine on the balcony and her best attempt to beat my cooked breakfast on a Saturday morning. She will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry for your incalculable loss, the funeral was a great celebration of Ann and Shane spoke so beautifully and brilliantly.

I was fortunate enough to work with Ann in Pinsent Masons and sat beside her at the office. She was such a wonderful colleague, so trustworthy and empathetic, but my fondest memories are the laughs and stories we shared, she had a terrific sense of humour.

Ann's love and pride for Shane shone through above all else. I enjoyed having a coffee with Ann and hearing about the football trips, trials, matches and Christmas holidays.

She was such a sweet soul and I'm proud to have known her, even for a short time. Rest in Peace.

This morning's funeral service was a lovely tribute to Ann; unusual to hear a good tenor singing solo in Church these days.

It was an amazing turnout too, which might have been of some comfort to Shane and to Ann's extended family.

Clearly we all felt the shock & sadness of her sudden passing.

Having just moved in to Rosemount a little over a year ago, I didn't know Ann except from the occasional chat in the car-park. Typically about Shane & Shelbourne or general Rosemount goings-on.

Ann was very friendly & supportive to myself and my daughter Robyn as we settled in. She was a good neighbour; interested, kind, considerate and tolerant. We appreciated her and will remember her fondly in our prayers.

I met Ann as a teacher for her son Shane some years ago. Such a lovely grounded lady and an incredible mother. My deepest sympathy to Shane in your great loss.

Our heartfelt condolences on the untimely passing of Ann. We had the pleasure of working with her over many years at McCann FitzGerald. She was always professional, supportive and always great fun. I’ll never forget her taking part in Dancing with the Stars, which Leonor and I were running in support of St. Vincent de Paul. She had such a laugh and genuinely enjoyed herself. She wasn't afraid to step outside her comfort zone, especially when it was for a good cause.

So sorry for your loss Shane. Always remember your Mam idolised you and everything she done was to ensure your happiness and development. From chauffeuring you to matches and training and going on trips to Liverpool and Limerick in recent times. She was always there watching, so proud and supportive of the brilliant young man you've become.

From my short time knowing her the last couple of years, while I had the privilege of coaching her exceptional young goalkeeper son at both club level and as the NDSL Kennedy Cup teams No.1, she was always a true lady with family at the top of her priorities.

Cherish all the good times you had together Shane, especially your recent trip supporting Shels in Amsterdam.

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of the sudden passing of Ann.

Ann was such a fantastic person – a great friend, kind, considerate, generous, bubbly, funny but most importantly, very sincere. We go back so many years and all the memories of the fun times we had in Dublin, Amsterdam, London, Brussels, Paris … have been flowing through my mind over the last few days … and they will remain with me forever.
