My sincere condolences to Pat, Valerie, Jo, John, Bob, Patricia, Stephen Ronan and all the extended family on Ann’s death.

I could not be present but I have watched the very moving ceremony from Plymouth and Stephen’s beautiful eulogy was so fitting of the occasion. Ann was my eldest first cousin and I will remember her fondly. Over the years I have had many long chats with her and I always admired her wisdom and wit. I last spoke to her some 5 weeks ago and she was her usual charming self.

She had great pride in her large family and of her Healy roots. She frequently recalled her happy childhood days in Holywell and the family association with Mayo meant so much to her.

I will miss her dearly and my thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. May she rest in eternal peace.
