Ann Linehan
(née Cowman)

Ann and I were in the same class through secondary school - L Cert 1969 so more than a half century ago. The many, many tributes here already catch her gifts, character, and devotion = a real teacher. I am so grateful we met at the celebration of " Haddington Road " when the school closed some years ago. She was happy, sparkling, and embedded as a fine Cork woman.

I was so sorry to read about Ann’s passing. Ann was a great support to me when my beautiful twin daughters were diagnosed with Autism back in 1996 . At that stage I didn’t know what route to take. Having found Ann’s number in the phone directory I contacted her and she was so good and helpful to me and my family. She was do generous and professional with her information and so beautiful to chat to . Only about 2 years ago I met her in Wilton and we planned on meeting up . Unfortunately it never happened.
So to her husband Jerry and her children and grandchildren I offer my deepest sympathies. May Ann Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Ann's untimely death I worked with her in Cope Foundation and she was a wonderful and gifted teacher and I always looked forward to seeing her class perform in our annual Christmas concerts .My condolences to the Lenihan and Cowman families .May her gentle soul rest in peace .
