We met Ann in the SCBU when our little girl Piper was very sick after birth, it was a terrifying time for us but Ann was there to reassure us and look after Piper in the unit. The world has lost such a wonderful person and a nurse. Ann will always be very grateful what you done for us in our hour of need. RIP Ann

I was completely shocked and saddened today (November 19th) when I heard of Ann’s recent passing.

I worked with Ann for many years in the Coombe Hospital Neonatal Unit. She was a fantastic work colleague and neonatal nurse. Her laughter and the fun we got up to during our Coombe days are so fresh in my mind still.

Thinking of all her family and friends at this difficult time.

Ann was a wonderful supporter of Amber. Her work with Hygiene Hub Kilkenny helped us to provide personal and hygiene products to the women and children we support. Ann volunteered to help us fundraise at Go Purple Day each year. She was also a committed volunteer star weaver with our One Million Stars project. She will be dearly missed by us all.

Ann Will be so missed by all of us, her travelling companions for over 20 years and her work colleagues in the coombe for much longer than that. She was the life and soul of our trips away. We will miss her hearty laugh and trying to keep up with her walking around all the various cities we have visited. Our trips away won’t be the same without her but she will always be with us. Also we spent many women’s Xmas together in my house where she was in charge of the Irish coffees !!

We are so deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Ann, she looked after our son who was born prematurely in Scbu St Luke’s hospital. We will never forget her Care warmth and kindness towards Liam and us during those weeks.

So very sorry to hear of Ann's passing. She accompanied our prem baby when she was transported to Waterford NICU and when we were back in St Luke's SCBU she was so very kind to my husband and I and especially so to our daughter. Thinking of all who loved her at this sad time.
