I lost an extremely kind , loving, interesting man , my husband of 48 years., last September ! My grief was immeasureable as yours will be .However grief begins to accommadate life after 3 months and then again after 6 months .I began to notice a pattern of changes in my grief every 3 months .Katherine, grief dispossess you , it is all consuming , it is exhausting , you are hollowed out and there is no fixing it , which is the cruellest cut of all..But .... believe it or not ,you will accomodate it , it will never go or dilute but you will build your life around it....your wonderful world is changed for ever and ever and you must find a way through that morass...you are in my thoughts and you will be hugely diminished but not broken, though your heart will !.I am wishing you every best wish and catharsis is a wonderful help , find it and embrace it. I have no religion but books and poetry helped my journey into my new life..And of course people , though only some !! Xxxx❤❤❤❤
Katherine, my thoughts and prayers are with You, at this very sad time.... Your green eyed emerald star, is now the brighest Star in the Divine Galaxy. May She always bring You Peace and Comfort!! How sad for you Katherine -always admired your courage and particularly the courage of Ann Louise at a time when very few had the courage to be truly themselves and to be so open when it wasn't easy - am sure you have inspired many - better to have loved and lost than to have denied your true selves - May that real and true love carry you through the difficult days ahead

So sorry to hear of your sad loss Minister Zappone. I didn't know any of you personally but was happy you got to share a legally recognised marriage ,in Ireland, with Ann Louise. May the memories of your lovIng relationship grant you comfort .
