My Dad and Mrs Mahon would have a bet if Galway and Offly made it to the all Ireland final..Mrs Mahon singing to her hearts content,while hanging washing on the line. Loving life and enjoying looking after her family..We lived next door to you for over 50 years.Your Mam's gentleness and kindness shone through.Thinking of you all at this difficult time.Rest in peace Mrs Mahon,a true lady xx.

Having lost both my Mam and Dad last year I know how much it hurts to lose a parent and my heart goes out to you all. Growing up around the corner from each other, we are full of colourful childhood memories of playing together on the roads, in gardens and fields. We were so many children watched over by our lovely mammies. Your Mam, Mrs.Mahon, as I knew her, being one of them. I treasure these memories and remember her well. May she rest in peace.

So very saddened to hear of Ann's passing, a wonderful woman and a truly great neighbor.

Mrs Mahon as she was known was a strong woman who didn't suffer fools but was always welcoming and saw the best in people. She would always fuss over us when we called in for Aidan, constantly checking we were ok for anything. She was a great friend to my Mam who loved Ann dearly, playing pitch and putt followed by a good catchup in the Pines or meeting up for lunch. She and PJ raised a family to be proud of, who I am sure will miss her loads. Lots of great memories of Mrs Mahon will forever keep her alive in the hearts and minds of those who had met her.

Sorry I can't be there for the funeral but Ann and all the Mahon's are in our thoughts and prayers.
