Ann-Marie Blessing

Deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Ann-Marie's passing. I knew her only a short time through Forest School training where she made an everlasting impression on me with her playful personality and infectious energy. She will be greatly missed.

Since I moved home and to Castletown, you’ve been a constant presence — a real force, albeit a gentle and considered one, in your determination to make Castletown a true community.

I loved seeing you out walking with Marlo; we always stopped for a chat. I looked forward to those moments and to hearing about your next big Castletown plan — and I took all of that for granted.

I’m so, so sorry, Peter and Neill. She was amazing, but you don’t need me to tell you that.

We’ll carry her energy and make sure it never leaves the community.

Peter and Neil , I am so saddened to hear your beloved sister Anne-Marie has been taken too soon to be reunited with your dear parents Martina and John . I remember a vivacious ,bubbly young girl when she holidayed with her grand mother, Martina, here in Longford and later in her kindness visiting Martina in Mullingar hospital . My sincere condolences to Peter and Neil on the heartbreaking passing of your dear sister Ann-Marie. I have such fond memories of Ann-Marie from our Scoil Mochua days and every time I met her over the years. She was truly a special person who touched everyone she encountered. I recall traveling through Europe years ago and meeting some Australians who were friends with Amo during her time living down there. We made the Celbridge connection, and the way they spoke about her warmth, kindness and fun-loving spirit was exactly who she was—Amo loved the craic and always left a lasting impression. Rest in peace, Ann-Marie. Your legacy will live on through the incredible work you did for the Celbridge community and beyond.

R.I.P. Annmarie a beautiful unique and kind person, who left a lasting impression. She babysat for me and as Peter said she was the fun babysitter, who then became friends with us all, Meeting us in Ibiza, where she showed her adventurous and easy to get along with side. Ann-Marie was a gorgeous person, inside and out. Thinking of Peter, Neill and all of her family and friends at this really sad time.

Thinking of all who loved her. I feel very lucky to have known her, she was such a lovely soul, always full of energy, chat, and a smile that could brighten any day. I’ll always remember our hikes together and the buzz she brought wherever she went.

I was grateful to be welcomed by her and her friends/family for a mandala workshop, where her natural creativity shone so brightly. She had such an intuitive gift for art, and it was inspiring to see her continue creating afterwards... painting chairs, flower pots, anything she could bring to life.

She will never be forgotten, and the warmth and light she brought into the world will live on in all who knew her. Rest in paradise, angel. xxx
