It is with the greatest sadness I learned of Anns death this evening as I walked in to Lucena expecting her beautiful smile and welcoming aura. Ann was so kind to my daughter Kate. They had the best chats and my daughter loved her. She always dressed exquisitely in bright beautiful colours to match her sparkling personality. I would like to extend our deepest condolences to all her family and friends. One of a kind. Will be deeply missed by all. Rest in Peace beautiful Ann. We will never forget you.

I’d like to offer my condolences to Annes dear partner, family, colleagues and friends in your loss as I just heard of Annes sad passing. I used to visit student nurses who were training at Lucena, Anne always helped me every way she could- by phone and when i called she greeted me with a beautiful warm smile. Always very professional and kind . My deepest sympathies to you all. may your treasured memories give you some comfort.

I am very saddened to hear of Ann’s passing. I send my condolences to all Ann’s family, friends and colleagues. I worked with Ann many years ago in St Peter’s school and in more recent times met her on reception in the clinic.
In St Peter’s she was so lovely to me as a “rookie” and in recent years my child and I received the same lovely, warm, calm welcome on each visit to the clinic . May her gentle soul rest in peace. She has joined a group of very special souls who have left this world early and gave such dedicated service to Child and Adolescent Mental
Health.

My sincere sympathy to Ann's family and friends. I work in another Lucena Clinic; on my frequent visits to the Rathgar clinic, Ann was the first welcoming face that I'd see. She was the epitome of warm and gracious hospitality. We will miss her dearly. RIP Ann.

Ann was (and I believe still is) a wonderful spirit. We will all miss her so much in Lucena. It is with a very heavy heart that I express my sincere condolences to Ann's family and friends, especially her sons Stephen and Ian, her grandsons, and her partner Peter - Ann would so often speak of each of you that it feels like we know you and every few months I would be tasked with helping Ann to put a new photo of Alex and Luke as her computer background. She adored you all. I have nothing but very fond memories of Ann, from my very first day in Lucena to the last day I spoke with her and she wished me the best for my wedding day. I'm so sad that she won't be there to greet me for a morning catch up at 8am, or to tell me when somebody parked in 'my space", or to laugh at my last-minute rush to get things into the post before collection. Ann will be so incredibly missed by us all in Lucena - staff and families. She has been the face of Lucena Rathgar for so many years and work will never be the same without her.
