To me, Nan was a quiet, softly spoken, gentle lady who always had a smile and a twinkle in her eye; for Noel, David and Linda, June, Clive and families, Nan was so much more: mum, mummy, gran … Gone from our sight, but only for a time, she will remain forever in your hearts; and to be remembered by those who’ve loved you is to never die, and and this is surely true of Nan, whose memory will be a blessing to so many.

We are so sorry that we cannot be with you in person, to pay our respects, but we will be there with you in our thoughts and prayers today and in the days and weeks ahead.

Farewell, Nan, but only for a while - may you rest peacefully and your spirit rise in glory.
