RIP Nancy
It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Nancy Lenihan. Nancy was a valuable member of Ardfert/Kilmoyley Senior Citizens’ Committee for many years. Though a native of Co Galway she was very much part of the community in Ardfert. Every Tuesday she came to Ardfert Community Centre to help out. She called the numbers for bingo, assisted with various activities and also helped serve dinner. Never one for the limelight, Nancy quietly got on with what had to be done. She had a passion for helping people which she did in a kind, gentle and unassuming manner. She was a great worker and had a kind word for everyone. Nancy was a “pure lady” and a “gentle soul”. She will be deeply missed.
