We know Christmas will be a very sad time for you both, but we will always remember the great Christmas mornings in Strawhall...Huge Christmas tree in the corner of your fab front room, fire blazing, smoked salmon and lots of canapes, gins and tonics, great tales and memories for you both to cherish.

It’s incredible to think that now Ann has also passed away so quickly. She was a class act, so witty, friendly and she always made me and our family so welcome over the years. Ann was a genuinely good friend to all of us and will be sorely missed. We are thinking about you both and may Ann rest in peace now too.

Dear Emma and Ruth, I was so sorry to hear the sad news of your lovely Mum's passing. I have very happy memories of Ann at hockey tournaments and meetings in the distant past. She was a great supporter of South East and Irish Hockey and was always cheerful and great company. My deepest sympathy to you both.

I am so sorry to hear of Ann's death.
I have very fond and happy memories of us playing hockey for " Clonmel Ladies " in the early 70's.
Thinking of her daughters Emma and Ruth, Helen ( who was in my class ) and Liam at this sad time.

We are so deeply saddened that Ann has passed away.
Ann was truly a legend within Carlow Little Theatre- she was the heart and soul of our society, and embodied everything that was good about local theatre. She was the steady hand at every production, full of encouragement and advice. She lit up all our sets & stages so beautifully and worked tirelessly behind the scenes, never looking for any accolades. She was a powerhouse, an irrepressible force with boundless energy, passion, commitment and loyalty. She was a great friend to us all, and our stage is all the dimmer now she is gone. She will be missed immeasurably, and will never be forgotten. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Emma and Ruth, at this unimaginably heartbreaking time on the loss of your beloved mum.
