Apologies that I couldn't be there with you as I'm out of the country but I did attend the obsequies online.
Ann was a lady who exuded confidence in everything she did and her accomplishments were many. I was lucky enough to have been coached by Ann in the six week rowing camp leading up to the World Champs.
Ann was way ahead of her time and has given to Women's rowing in Ireland a legacy to be proud of. The Commercial crew (Bridget, Geri, Olive, Tina and Mary H) coached by Ann were technically so good, even by today's standards, they were a joy to observe on the water.
May Ann now rest in peace with her beloved Tina.
