I worked with Ann in Mercy Chatswood briefly during a gap year in Sydney back in 2004. She was so welcoming and kind to me. I still remember her with fondness. I only knew Ann through participation at Sydney Scottish fiddlers for a short time, yet she was the type of person you felt you’d known for years. Her warmth and support of the fiddlers will be sadly missed. Condolences to all her family both in Australia and back in ireland.

Ann, I am so saddened to learn of your passing.

You were a treasured colleague, a very talented and popular teacher, a generous community member who gave so much of herself for the benefit of others through your SES work and other community works.

Your love of your culture and your music and dance is legendary and I will forever remember you at Mercy College constantly saying how beautiful it was to walk around the College and hear the girls singing, or the story of the kids on the bus to the Australian Outback singing hymns and providing the music (on short notice) for Mass in Coober Pedy - UNACCOMPANIED!

And you are the only person I know who could arrive in a new country, attend the Welcome function on the eve of starting a new teaching job and ask if anyone had a backyard big enough to accommodate her and her tent.

You will be missed by so many whose lives you have touched over so many years lovely lady.

Rest in peace gentle soul. I met you the day you arrived in Australia and you have had a lasting effect on all you met ever since.
