Adored Ann from the first day I met her - She was many great things, she was a beautiful soul, a compassionate, kind, wise warrior woman, she was witty & great craic, she was hardworking and contributed so much great work to homeless services spanning 30 years. I have just watched the beautiful service for Ann online. I regret not being there in person, but it was a privilege to be able to participate at a distance and to share this very special and sacred time with her family.
I did not know Ann personally, but I have been friends with her sister Marie for over 40 years. Over those years I have heard great stories of strong sisterly love and many happy times shared both at home and in California. And from today's celebration of her life, I have had deeper insights into the powerhouse of energy and love that she was. She was indeed a very special person and will be greatly missed by you Marie and all her family and friends. My deepest heartfelt sympathies go to all of you.

May this special and unique person that Ann was rest in peace.

She was an absolute treasure and lady to life.

We stayed in contact since then and became friends.

Ann was one of the lovliest people I had the privilege of knowing. She was a great neighbour in Chapel St all those years ago and she gave me my first babysitting job. We had great chats and laughs on the morning commute to Waterford when we both worked in Focus Ireland. She was a great person. Fly high Ann and rest in peace.

Great memories of playing Basketball with Ann , the other Roches and the Leahy’s in the then new Basketball court at the Community Centre , well before there was a Community Centre . A lifetime later our paths crossed through her work. Nothing had changed , still a joy to meet.
