Not many people leave an organisation they have founded and nurtured behind them when they die but Ann has achieved that. We in Rathmines U3A will be forever grateful to her for the gift she gave us. With vision and persistent courage she has left Rathmines U3A in a thriving state. We salute her for her ability and thank her for her kindness and goodness. We will miss her cheery presence and her good advice but are grateful to have known her and to have experienced the difference she made to the community. Thank you, Ann, for all you did for the older person in Rathmines and Dublin 6.

I knew Ann through U3a. It was always a pleasure to meet her -so warm and friendly and full of positivity in her lovely bright colours. She will be greatly missed. Deepest sympathy to her family.
