I met your dear Mum in the Royal Hospital Donnybrook as she was in the same room as my Mum (Mary) over the past couple of months. We had great chats and she told me all about her 4 daughters with Irish names and her beloved cats! She was a really lovely person and I was shocked and saddened to hear this news especially when I had seen her make such progress and get on so well with her rehab. My thoughts are with you all at this desperately sad time.

We worked together for many years in community care . Fond memories of Ann who was a real
champion for her clients , loved a good discussion / debate , was a great strong character to have in any department . She also had a lovely kindness & charm . May Ann rest in peace.

It’s sad to know that Ann, my “big sister”, passed away on Friday, particularly so for the girls and her grandchildren. Luckily they have a close family bond together that I believe will support them somewhat in their grief.
