To Paddy and extended family, sincere sympathy on the passing of your beloved mother. May she Rest In Peace
To Sarah and all the Power family , we the Cenacle Sister wish to offer our deepest sympathy on the passing of your dear mother Ann.She attended many of our gatherings over the years and it was always a joy to be in her company.I myself have very happy memories of her 90th birthday.R.I.P.
Dear Patrick, Robert, John, Fran, Sarah, Richard and extended families,
We are so sorry to hear of the death of your lovely mum. We remember her fondly and enquired about her weekly from Lori, who until recent restrictions, cleaned for us both. Petite, elegant and ladylike, Ann never indulged in predictable chat or relied on recounting stories of her life or achievements (which were many) but instead, engaged others in conversations they never expected to have.
Never appearing controversial or opinionated herself, she gently probed and extracted your views while subtly introducing possible alternatives.
My late father (Roderick Morton) always delighted in the prospect of chatting with Ann and described her as being 'stimulating' as she had an 'open and inquiring mind' and was both 'intellectual and spiritual'. Let's hope they meet again in the next life to continue their chats. May she rest in peace.
Isabel Morton, John Bourke and family
