My deepest sympathy to you Barbara and all Ann's family on her recent death.I feel very sad to think she has left us.We had very happy times together in St Raphael's.She brought great fun to our class and made us all laugh.May she rest in peace.

I just heard the news today of Ann's death. I am deeply shocked. We spent 5 years together in St Raphaels. Please accept my deepest sympathy Barbara, Maeve and of course her children whom I never met but Ann talked about when we met up a few years ago. May she rest in peace.

My sincere sympathies to you all on the untimely death of Ann.Im struggling to believe that Ann, that immense force of nature,who provided sport and craic to us all in St Raphael’s all those years ago is no longer with us.The world is a duller place in her absence

I was so very sad to hear about Ann - we had some fun times at school and she used to get me to buy her baked beans which she had to eat cold! I met her a for lunch a few years ago in Cork and we have a great time and talked about our days at St Raphael. My sympathies to you Barbara and all her family.

Sincerest condolences Christine, Neil and Barbara. As you know, Anne was one of my Mum, Linda's, dearest friends, with her warmth and humour around many a dinner table, always interested in what I and my brothers were doing, including more recently, what my own kids were up to. Incredible generosity of spirit, extending to helping me secure a student loan in AIB! She had more confidence in my financial ability than was warranted, but that was indicative of her optimistic outlook on the world. A beacon of positivity, she was a very special lady and will be sorely missed.
