I worked with her when she gave tremendous assistance to The Ballymun Job Centre during the 1990s in what was a ground breaking project which gave real opportunities to Ballymun people in the Tech Sector. I was shocked and saddened to read of Ann’s passing.I knew her initially
through the Institute of Directors - she was very tolerant of my poor attendance

I was in awe of her and learned a huge amount from her. She was generous, passionate, super smart and a true leader. She created a professional path for many Irish women to follow.

So sorry to learn about the passing of Ann. She was a great person. So interested in people and the world around her - and able to generate energy in others for the things that were important (to her and others). A loss too early to Ireland’s leadership community - although that’s not to say that she didn’t already leave her mark.

To LIsa and John and your families, I have only heard the desperately sad news of Ann's passing. I am shocked and greatly saddened by it.
I joined the IoD in 2008 and Ann became IoD President in 2009-2011. it was a time of huge change at the IoD and we worked very closely together to implement it. She was such an ally and such a visionary. Extraordinarily self effacing about her successes which were many, at a time when there wasn't just a glass ceiling but also a concrete roof!
She talked often about you both and her grandchildren who she idolised!
I really am so very sorry.
I remember her most fondly and with the greatest of respect.

I have such fond memories of our time together in Microsoft - the stories I could tell of the time we shared a room at MGX sales Conference in Canada.
