I was so saddened to hear of the passing of my dear Auntie Anna. She was my mother’s only sister and such a wonderful person, forever smiling, genuinely happy to see you and full of kindness. She had kind and uplifting things to say about everyone. She had a deep and abiding faith in God and truly lived her life by it. Whenever I called her, before I could even finish “Hi, Auntie Anna,” she would always say, “Oh Margaret, Agra, how are you? I’m so glad you called.” That was Auntie Anna, warm, loving and full of kindness. She will be deeply missed, but I know she’s at peace now. She and my mother are finally back together and I’m sure their dear sister-in-law, Auntie Mary, is right there with them too. Let the laughter and dancing begin for all eternity under Jesus’ watchful eye, so the three of them don’t cause too much of a stir up there.

RIP Anna a wonderful person. Anna looked after me so well many years ago on a pilgrimage to Lough Derg keeping me in conversation throughout the night vigil and not letting me doze off. A kind and beautiful individual.
