I was sorry to hear of Anna’s death. Have such good memories of lunch meet ups where we talked reading, writing, travel, science, the arts and family. She was thoughtful, fair, interesting and insightful. Rest in peace Anna. My condolences to Richard, Aisling and all those close to Anna. Patricia

Many happy memories of covering news markings with Anna over the years. She was the bright and normally quiet one, who could explain things the rest of us could not understand. Sadly she is joining the likes of Tony Purcell, Noel Smith, Arthur Quinlan who have passed to the other side. We had great times with the likes of Michael Walsh, Brian McLaughlin,Cathy Halloran, Tony Mulvey and many others. Sympathies to Richard and family. Sadly I will miss funeral as i am away on holiday

Deepest condolences to Richard and Aisling on the loss of Anna. Anna was a superb journalist and a committed trade unionist. She was a great colleague to have, both professionally and within the NUJ, but she was an even better friend.

It was with a sense of shock that I read of Anna's passing on Clare R.I.P, a journalistic colleague in the Mid-West for a good number of years. We would meet on assignments and at NUJ meetings along with other members of the regional Press corps, some now deceased.
Anna was a good colleague with her specialist field in science Journalism. We met her with you Richard - a gentleman - at regular events. My sincere condolences to you and Aisling from Brian McLaughlin, Irish Press newspapers and later freelance and my wife Marion who also new Anna.
