Anna and I became friends over our shared love for poetry and veganism. Even though we lived so far apart, we met whenever I came to Ireland and kept in contact online. I will miss her forever. My deepest sympathy for her family.

So sad to hear about Anna's passing. I met her once at a vigil for the animals and she was so kind and sweet when we talked briefly. Her activism was an inspiration and she will always be remembered as a passionate and persisting advocate for the animals. I'll never forget you, Anna. My condolences to family and friends x

deeply saddened to hear of anna's passing, and i want to extend my condolences to her loved ones. i knew anna through her activism online. she was such a bright and special light in my eyes. we never knew each other personally, but our few interactions always left me feeling happier, and more thoughtful. i attribute my own veganism and increased compassion to seeing her and her relentless passion for justice. i pray you rest easy, anna.

Anna always rejected compliments but I never stopped trying. A special person through and through, funny, kind, and strong. Not many people can do what she did for the animals she loved. Her loss is a stab in the gut but she deserves to be mourned and loved.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Anna in person, but I spoke to her online and she really touched my heart. I'm grateful that I got the chance to know her in some capacity, even if it was only through a screen. Anna was incredibly kind, caring, courageous and brave, and she made a real difference to the world and a difference to so many other people who were hurting and struggling. She did so much more good than I think she even realised, and I hope she can live on in some way in the memories of all the people and animals she helped. She will never be forgotten and she will be missed far and wide.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was lucky enough to be in the same primary class as Anna in Rolestown. I am very grateful for all the childhood memories we have shared as a friend group over the years in school. From camp wars to jumping over piles of grass that we would gather when they cut it, to playing very competitive games of rounders, bull dog take down, chasing and many more. I will always remember Anna as a kind and very compassionate person with the biggest heart, especially when it came to animals. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rest in peace Anna.
