My condolences to all members of the Keyes family as well as Máire at this difficult time. It is always difficult losing a parent or grandparent but, when that person is a woman as formidable as Anna Mae, it must be infinitely more so. Although I had not seen her for a number of years, my own memories are of a woman who thoroughly enjoyed life. She was deeply and seriously devoted to the church, but that sometime seriousness belied a spirit and joie de vivre that were right on the surface. This spirit was given away by a twinkle in the eyes that, judging by the last photograph that I saw of her, was still there right through to the end of her life. This spirit will live on in all your memories, as indeed it will in mine. RIP and God bless.

My condolences to all Anna Mae's large family spanning generations. Anna Mae was an amazing, wonderful and inspirational woman who has only ever been young at heart no matter her years.

I am sorry I wasn't there for her reposing and burial but I was infectious and had to stay away for the sake of the family she loved so much.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of dear Anna Mae. Even though I only met her once or twice in person we have been corresponding for about 46 years since L. C. R. and received her last card just before Christmas. And we also had our pre Christmas chat also. Anna Mae ill miss out chats and correspondence but I will never forget you a real lady with a big heart.
