I remember her as a lovely lady with a strong drive to be in control. Had a significant influence in health care on the east side of Limerick. Everybody always spoke highly of her as matron of the good old Barrington's.

My deepest condolences to the Casey and Liston families on Anna's passing. I met Anna through Family Carers Ireland. What a lady. Even in her later years Anna always showed her kindness, compassion and empathy to others. She always put others and their needs first. When she was turning 100 she didnt want a fuss. Anna left a mark and touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with, including my own. She was a strong woman who knew what she wanted. Sleep easy my dear. You have passed on so much knowledge and helped others to understand how to have kindness, compassion and empathy for others. RIP

Deepest sympathies to Irene and the extended Casey family in the sad passing of Anna. The present nursing team at Bon Secours Hospital Limerick at Barringtons continue to carry on her strong legacy to nursing care.

I have been lucky to call Anna a friend for many years, recently as a fellow Soroptimist and previously as a family friend and colleague of my father, Patrick Harnett, in Barrington’s Hospital. She was a very dedicated Matron there. She and Sister Damian were frequent visitors to our family home. She was great company, and always had lots of stories to share.
