Margaret & I have wonderful memories of fun times spent with Anna & Rene; no matter the reason (meting by chance or pre-arranged for celebration) or whether it was in Cork, Dublin or here in Toronto. We also have great memories of visits back home from Toronto for All-Irelands or weddings and really appreciated how Anna continued to send on the eventful GAA weekend papers and sports clippings by regular mail even after Rene’s passing in late 2019.

May dearest Anna rest in peace and to quote an old Irish Blessing “Leaba i measc na Naomh go raibh aici agus suaimhneas síoraí dá h’anam dílis.”

So sorry to hear of Anna's passing . We have wonderful memories of a beautiful lady in the 1960s when we were all young and carefree in UCD. I am conscious too that you have lost Rene in the recent past . Losing loved ones is not easy . May Anna reunited with Rene rest in peace .
