Its hard to put anna's complete life into a few words .to those who were in somewhat daily contact with Anna in the latter years ,life was not a happy place.so many people let her down HSE. Kildare Co Co. And others.
Anna is in a much better place now.away from the Hurt and the Nastyness.
She will be missed by her sisters her close friends .61 and a half she would have said . Rest now .tomorrow is another day .

Anna’s light shone brightly on stage in Newbridge…she was a leading force in our drama group down the years.Her distinct voice….her beauty..her fine acting is memorable.
She also paved the way for ladies in the role of directing.
Her warm spirited encouragement to all of us and especially younger members..her professional manner will long be remembered.When the curtain went down Anna enjoyed the fun and craic her warm fun laugh ..her sparkling ways never wavered.
Two standout roles for me were Nurse Ratched in The Cuckoo’s Nest 1996 and Juno .
Even when Anna was unwell a few years ago when the drama group had a fundraiser Anna played an exerpt from Juno ..she lit up the stage one more time..
Bella Anna ..a beautiful warrior.

Anna you were an inspiration to others you fought your illness with great dignity. Now it’s your turn to go and enjoy your Heavenly Home with your beloved pre deceased Family and your great pal Ger and continue to shine and entertain everybody as the star you are. Rest In Peace my Dear Aunt Anna, your memory will live on as such a vibrant funny dramatic soul who touched so many lives. I wish I could have made it to Courtown to see you over the last few summers (damn Covid) but I will treasure the many memories of wonderful summers growing up in Courtown with all my wonderful aunties. I will always remember your hilarious sayings and sense of humour and will miss having a chat with you!! xoxo

I went to school with Anna many moons ago. Fond memories of the fun and divilment that surrounded her. She had a great knack of keeping her classmates amused. Plenty of signs of the budding actress even back then in primary school. I was so sad to hear of her devastating health issues. Gone far too early but a happy release from her pain. Condolences to her daughter Idé and family. RIP.

Anna, we first met when you were the aerobics teacher in Newbridge sports centre back in the 80s and you were our Olivia Newton John from her ' Let's get Physical' video...beautiful, athletic, and a tough task master, I can still hear you shout, 'faster!' Then through drama we became friends, all those nights after rehearsals sitting in a car outside your house as we put the world to rights. You were and will always be the finest actress ever, and being onstage with you meant we were all in safe hands, once you locked eyes with your fellow players, somehow you made us better too. Thank you for being there for me through rocky times, but mostly for the fun, the laughter, the always speaking your mind, the delightful ways in which you always embraced your inner child, your smile, your laugh, your wit, your 'you'. Rest in peace, friend. My deepest sympathies to Íde, Lilly Maye, Jordan, Sheelagh, Nualagh, Jean and all the family. " May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest".
