Very sorry to hear of the passing of my lovely neighbour Anne. She was a frequent visitor to our house all through the 1960s and 1970s. Anne wrote two insightful memoirs of her own family and childhood which can be read on the Memory of Calry website. May she rest in peace.

May Anne's gentle and lovely soul rest in peace, now happily reunited with her beloved parents. Anne got to tell her beautiful life story titled "A lovely home in the Goldwrappers" on the Memory of Calry page. A lovely worthwhile read of a simple and happy life in the Goldwrappers in better times. One of Anne's greatest wishes some years back was to have a little memorial stone erected at her parents' grave in old Clogher cemetery. I feel very privileged to have been able to help Anne achieve this.
