To say I have lost my best friend is an understatement.
Anne was everything, and more, that a best friend could be for almost 50 years.
Neither of us had a sister but we found sisterhood together.
Anne's DNA was steeped in music and in it she excelled on piano, her various choirs and on stage.
For decades Anne and I enjoyed holidays together several times a year. If laughter was a tonic we came back from these holidays supercharged with positive effects from the fun we had together
Anne was one in a million and I was so lucky to have been her friend. Thank you for that Bernard.
Karen, you have been such an outstanding daughter to your dear Mum with your constant care of her. You were both blessed to have one another.
My sincere sympathy to each one of the family. I am feeling your loss deeply in my heart.
Nana created memories that became traditions we’ll never forget. Through her love, her humour, and her generosity, she taught us the importance of kindness, of cherishing family, and of finding joy in the little things.

Nana showed her love in the smallest gestures; a chocolate treat, a hot water bottle, a hug, or simply asking about the dogs. Nana lived fully in those quiet, everyday moments that make life rich and meaningful.

Nana loved her family fiercely, and each of us grandchildren knew we held a special place in her heart. I am heartbroken to say goodbye, but I take comfort in knowing that her love, her laughter, and her spirit will stay with us always.

Rest peacefully, Nana. We’ll carry you in our hearts forever, and we’ll keep your love alive in all the ways you taught us to care for one another.

P.S. I hope you’re singing in the Angels choir xxx

She was a lovely person, always warm and personal. I’m happy that I got to know her in our RDS group. She greeted me with a warm smiling face on my first day and we soon discovered that we had already met at a family wedding in Killarney.
A great companion on our various outings and activities, she often added a touch of girlish fun . We missed her when her health problems set in. I remember especially our trip to Venice and the Opera. She had great musical talent .
May you sing with the Angels now Anne in your Eternal Rest.
