I met Anne when we both had young children. Her house was the scene of many lively afternoon gatherings for quite a circle of friends with babies. Her sense of fun and her relaxed manner were exemplary to me. I have happy memories of dinners together in our house and in your house.

I was proud of Anne as she started to progress with her law studies. We saw little of each other in our middle years as our careers and our families kept us very busy. News of Anne's passing came to me only when I opened my Irish Times to see the wonderful account last Saturday of her life achievements. I am proud to have known her. Anne was an exceptional woman. Love.

Remembered by me as a very bright student in the Friary Girls NS Dundalk who went on to achieve many great milestones.
