Our deepest sympathy to JohnB and Thomas on the death of their dear mother. I first got to know Anne as a teenager when she came to Cavan to visit with my Uncle John Joe R.I.P. She always struck me as a kind and also an intelligent woman who had a quick wit and winning smile. As a student in UCD she always welcomed myself and my friend Marie with ahearty meal which was much appreciated. Later after Tom and I married she was so gracious when she welcomed us with our young children.The table was set with white linen and china and our chilren always liked her sugar lumps and the school desk.
Rest in peace now dear Anne and know that your grace and dignity shine brightly when we remember you. We are so sorry that we were abroad when you died and to have missed your funeral.
