Anne Cummins

I worked with Anne some 20 years ago in St Patricks and we managed to keep in touch throughout the years. It was my pleasure to know her. She had a wonderful attitude to life with a great sense of humor. RIP

To Ned, John, Joseph, Gerard, Margot, Gemma and Therese I am deeply saddened to hear of Anne's passing. It came as a complete shock. There are so many memories of the past, time spent in the summer months when I stayed in Dungarvan with Granny our teenage years and those times when we both found ourselves in Dungarvan, usually in the month of August.
These memories of time spent with Anne will always be special. May her gentle soul rest in peace and may she be reunited with Jack, Rita, Mary and Ciara and all those who have gone before her

Sincere condolences to Anne Cummins family. Gone way too soon. Anne looked after me when I first arrived to Concern Bangkok end of 1990, and later in Cambodia, always keeping a good eye on Marcus, Viv and I! Anne knew everyone in the NGO, IO and government sector supporting development in Cambodia, a natural diplomat. She also knew the best tailors for outfits. We all had many made, and especially for the St. Patrick's Day parties. Anne is fondly remembered by so many people. May Anne RIP.

Sincere sympathy to the Cummins family on learning of Anne’s death may she now rest in peace following a life dedicated to others

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Anne in Bangladesh in 1972, and as Dominic MacSorley, Concern CEO, described, her presence was felt through her work and her charismatic persona worldwide - she was incredibly efficient in her work, had an innate altruism and simply had a heart of gold. Many of the early 1970's Concern volunteers, including Anne, have since gotten together for many reunions and sadly, for some funerals as well and through it all, we remained "family". Fr. Aengus Finucane, former CEO of Concern, must have been watching over Anne, since she died on Monday, April 26th on what would have been Aengus' 89th birthday. May Anne rest in peace and may Anne and Aengus meet again.
