My sincere sympathies to the Donegan, and Sweetman, families, on the death of your beloved, and beautiful person, Anne, R I P, May she rest in peace, rewarded for her goodness and kindness in life, granted a very special place in her new found heavenly home, reunited with all her loved ones especially the love of her life, her beloved husband Pat, to share in that everlasting heavenly joy .Anne, was a wonderful home maker, loved, and admired her three darling children, and together with Pat , provided well, for them, and was a sense of much satisfaction, to see them all achieve their maximum , in the development of their god given talents. She, loved her environment, home , family, her community, and very much her garden, and in standing in the long queues up to the house, I spotted all the roses were about to bloom, but there was one beautiful red in bloom, and I said to myself, that one is for you, Anne. The evening sun was setting in the far distant hills, as the leaves on the trees, began to nestle in their branches, I finally arrive at the place, of Anne’s reposing, and I recalled to myself, the last time we met was in my garden, and we recounting old memories, and when we first met, at Innishannon school. The family, society, and the community, will be very much the poorer of Anne’s passing, as her likes, will no longer cross our paths, all we can do is treasure the memories, and hold dear the very principals of Anne Donegans life.

Anne was not just a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother but a jewel in the community. She founded Ahiohill Ladies Club, sang in the choir, transformed and maintained the Community Hall, actively helped the GAA and all local clubs.While she worked tirelessly in her home and community she always found time to chat and her warm words were always enlightening and positive. We will all be the poorer in Ahiohill and its surrounds for her passing but greatly enriched by having encountered her. May her gentle soul rest in peace with Pat and their parents.
