Dear Andrew and Elly, I am very sorry for your loss. Anne was a beautiful, kind lady. May she rest in peace.

Our heartfelt condolences to all the Williams family on the passing of Anne. What a wonderful kind and loving person Anne was and truly the matriarch of a really amazing family. So many memories of her going back, for us, over 50 years. We came over from Ireland many times - usually headed for Gigg Lane to watch Bury (main participants Russ, Trish, Tony, our small Irish Bury supporters club along with myself and Patrick.) Russ was often disgruntled with the match result (so were we but always had fun!) and I remember arriving back home to Anne who looked up from the ironing and mischievously asked Russ...."was it the ref again dear?".
We were privileged to have had the chance to visit Anne in her final home with the lovely Andrew and Eli - and as always she radiated peace, calm and incredible good humour and seemed to be a very content lady in her final years. We will miss her greatly and have in our hearts all of her family and especially the wonderful Sr. Mary Teresa.

Dear Sister and Andrew, with so much love and tenderness you both took care of Anne. She is a pleasure to be around Elly would often say to me. And the times i was staying with them i always enjoyed sitting near Anne; she radiated peace and i would feel a silence arising in me. She was in peace with herself, with life, with the people around her; living in the présence of God. We loved to sing with her this song: Here i am Lord. Is it i Lord? I have heard you calling in the night. I Will go Lord, if you lead me. I Will hold your people in my heart. We would repeat it so often that not only the lyrics but Annes precious présence became ingrained in my heart. Your seconde name, Dorothea means Gift of God. I think you have been a true gift of God to many people, not only your family. So thank you Anne for all the love you poured over all of us. I am sure that You Will be carried on Angelic wings to the gate of eternity where infinite love spreads her arms to welcome you home. Bye dearest Anne, see you later on the order side.

Every year I visit my friends Elly and Andrew and so I met Anne more often. And I really loved being around her. A wise woman with an open heart, inspiring, humour, singing, caring, positive, connected with her family and with a lot of faith in God.
And I really think she couldn't have a better home for the last years of her life. She was surrounded with lots of love and care. Anne, a beautiful woman that will be missed.

Anne was an absolute joy and comfort to be around. She exuded compassion & was so wise, fun loving, adventurous and spiritual with a tremendous faith. She had a terrific sense of mischief and humour. She radiated kindness, peace and love, evidenced by her room in Gerahies which was filled with family photos.
Her family was everything to her.
A beautiful woman with a huge heart, Anne will be so very sadly missed, but she joyously departed to go to her eternal home.
