Anne DRUMM

Rest in peace Anne. We met through my Grandmother Pam who Anne stayed with when attending set dancing annually at Dan Furry weekend in County Clare. Anne was full of energy and had great stories. I spent two weeks living with her when I moved to Dublin and we had great laughs as I taught her how to cook a roast chicken, haha! We also caught up more recently in Perth Australia with her wonderful friend Mary. A very kind and generous lady who will be greatly missed xx

I met Anne at the Willie Clancy Summer School and became friends with her through the Dan Furey Dance Group. She was so supportive and kind to me, throughout a long illness I was having, offering frequent encouragement and positive kind words. I will never forget her practical wisdom and grandmotherly love. I knew Anne in Aer Lingus and can't believe she has died. She was a lovely, friendly, happy person. My sympathies to her family

But I can hear Anne's voice, ever practical, ever positive, in a very calm manner, comforting us all & advising us & helping us to move forward. I met Anne in Miltown Malbay in 1990, we were part of the Dan Furey old style step dance group. I can honestly say from that day on we have laughed, danced, sang, travelled & generally had a ball. Anne lived life to the full & was such a kind, generous, caring, fun loving person with a wicked quick sense of humour. I am privileged to have known Anne & to have her as a friend. I'm sure she is welcomed fondly by all the Angels gone before her. Keep dancing Anne. May your gentle soul Rest in Peace. Grá Margaret.

I am so sad and absolutely devastated to hear of Anne’s death.
I have known Anne since the 16th February 1971 when we both joined Aer Lingus together.
I honestly have never met kinder, nicer, more generous, more caring person than Anne.
We lived half a world away from each other but we always kept in touch and remained good friends.

Anne was always so calm and she was so stoic through her terrible illness.

I was so sorry to hear of Anne's untimely death. I worked with Anne in Aer Lingus reservations for many years. We had lots of great times together on our various trips abroad. In later years we shared lots of laughter and great times as part of the step dancing group in Miltown Malbay with James, Dan and Celine and many others. Anne was a kind, thoughful and generous person, always in good form. I offer my sincere condolences to Frank and John and the extended Drumm family. May Anne's soul rest in peace.
