Duggan's house was quite simply my second home throughout my childhood. I was always made welcome by Paddy and Anne, and never went home without a full belly. I took it for granted at the time, but looking back they were both so gracious and generous with their time and hospitality for years and years and years.

I'm very sorry not to be able to attend the funeral, but I've been thinking of you all - Aine, Carmel, Padraig, and your own families - these past few days. My deepest condolences.
