We only met Anne a couple of times and she welcomed us with open arms. There will be no need for Anne to queue up for her angel wings in heaven as she already had them on earth.

I was very lucky to have Anne as my teacher in the early 90s. She was exceptionally kind and caring. To this day I have lovely memories from 2nd class that have left an impression. She always had a warm smile and a kind word. Rest in peace Anne.

Growing up I spent a lot of time in Landscape Terrace, with Anne's family. I remember well Anne's singing and vocal harmonies with her sisters, and her love of music. I remember lovely holidays in Waterford, with all the cousins. Later Anne and some of her classmates worked summers in London, as did I, and we would meet up on Sunday afternoons in a park to listen to radio commentary of GAA matches from home, and discuss the world.
I am not at all surprised by the messages people have left, including her many students whose lives she undoubtedly enhanced, in her quintessentially quiet and unassuming way.
She will be a major loss to her extended family in general, but especially to Peter, John, Rory and Paul in particular. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dilís
