I'm truly sorry to learn of Anne's death. She had the quirky sense of humour and wit of the Gallagher clan and chatting with her was always a pleasure. I have the fondest memories of Anne and her gang of friends in the 1970s when there was great craic on almost every weekend of socialising. Those 21st birthday parties were memorable (and it was through Anne and her dear brother Pete that I met my late wife Emer). She now also joins Pete and her parents among those who have gone before us, and may her good soul now rest in peace.
