You played a huge role in my family’s lives. The bike shop we all grew up loving. And the friendship that you had with my mother. You were always so kind. So rest in peace mrs Gough gone but you will never be forgotten. Xxx

We are so saddened by Anne’s passing but are thankful for having had her in our lives and for the many special times we shared together. Anne was a very special person, truly one of a kind. She was wonderful company and had a unique ability to make you feel at home and loved, especially in the everyday things she did. We will always treasure our memories of her and send our love to Paddy, Christine and Carmel. Rest in Peace, dear Anne xxx

Anne was like a sister. She meant the world to me and her passing has left an empty space. I think of her every day and will always hold close the many happy and special days we shared, especially from our trips to Balbriggan. My sincere condolences to Paddy, Christine and Carmel on the passing of a Balbriggan treasure. My parents were great friends with herself and Breen, a friendship I’m happy to say continued through the decades and on to the next generation. Anne was my father’s first cousin and shared so much information with me when we were trying to build a picture of our shared Roscommon Sheeran family. A previous comment said that herself and Breen were a “brilliant double-act" and that sums them up well. She was so jolly and wise and a joy to visit. Solas na bhFlaitheas go bhfeice sí.

My sincere condolences to the family, neighbours, friends of Mrs Gough, Mrs Gough & her late husband were so kind to us as children. We got our first & last bicycles from them. In particular, I wanted a black BMX bike to race on the BMX track, they encouraged my parents to buy it, it still to this day, now in my 50's, brings warmth to my heart. They made a child's dream come true, Racing on that track, was the Best. Rest now with the angels Mrs Gough, & thank you..💕

Mrs and breen were the best people we ever had to do with i have been going to goughs shop since i was 12 for my first bicycle then my first chainsaw etc nicer people you couldent meet breen always spent time talking about life in general mrs gough always had time to chat about family my deepest condolences to christine and especially paddy whom i have great respect sorry for your loss your dear mam may she rest in breens arms for eternity god bless

We always knew it was in great hands and would be looked after as quickly as possible. We were always greeted with a warm and welcoming smile and stopped for a chat. The passing of Mrs Gough is very sad news & we would like to pay our condolences to her family. I bought my first motorbike from her in the 1970s on hire-purchase & thus saw her regularly in her shop until it was paid off.
