So very sorry to read of our Cousin Anne Meades DeathR.I.P. I remember playing with her when we were on holiday in Ireland visiting from England with parents Peggy and Henry Moore and sisters Angela, Tina, Henrietta and brother John.We also met up when we were both at teacher training college in London.

So sorry to have heard of Anne’s death-only yesterday. I have great memories of playing outside in the Diamond with Alice, Maura a d Anne-until almost dark while we lived there. My sister Ann was a special friend of Anne’s and they had a lot of fun times together.

I'm saddened to hear of miss Meade passing. She was a lovely teacher I can honestly say inu years at OLOM I never heard her once raise her voice to us and she would have had just cause to do so at times. She had the patience of a saint with us. In your grief as a family know that after all these years since leaving school l for one certainly remember her with respect. Rest in peace Miss Meade. So sad to hear of Anne,s passing. We went to school together and taught together. She was great craic and fearless. She travelled to Alice’s home in cork with me in my first car. She wiped the windscreen( no wipers, no licence, no experience) while I drove all the way from Strabane in 2nd gear. What an exciting experience/ we laughed a lot together after this. RIP Anne. Her brother’s sudden death broke her heart. Condolences to Alice and Maura.

I’m so sad to hear this news. Anne was such a kind woman, a great friend and former teaching colleague of my mum Marie. She made my first holy communion dress in 1987 and I vividly remember standing in her front room while she pinned it during a fitting. I was so excited to be wearing such a beautiful dress. She was so very talented. May she rest in peace. My condolences to her family.
