Sincere condolences to the Mordan and O'Donnell families on the loss of Anne.Laurel Hill Coláiste was my first teaching post and Anne was so thoughtful, kind and protective of both students and staff.She nutured young teachers and guided everyone to be their best selves.The culture of excellence, compassion and positivity that Anne created within the school was such a wonderful introduction to education. I feel very blessed to have had my time in Laurel Hill with Anne and and her wonderful staff.May Anne rest in peace.

My thoughts are with all of Mrs Mordan's family on her passing. I attended Laurel Hill during her time as principal and the school thrived under her leadership. Her legacy will endure through the generations of students that she taught with dignity, respect and kindness. Ar dheis De go raibh an hanam.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Bean Uí Mhordáin.She was a wonderful principal-strict but fair, kind and great fun,dressing up in Rachel’s uniform on stage for us one year.She was such an advocate for us Coláiste girls and I have such happy memories of my time in Laurel Hill under her care.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

I graduated from Laurel Hill Colaiste in the late 90’s and I was actually thinking about Mrs. Mordan at the beginning of this year. Her impact was profound and something that will live on. Mrs. Mordan was a woman of remarkable strength, vision, and determination, who never let anything stand in the way of excellence—and inspired all of us to do the same. Her impact on our school, and on me personally, was significant. She was a true leader and a lasting inspiration, and she will be greatly missed.

Sincere condolences on the loss of Mrs Mordan. Anne was an amazing teacher and she instilled in me a Love for Science , which I later went on to study in UCG. Anne worked us hard and encouraged us to reach our true potential. Had a lovely chat with her in 2020, when we Celebrated 200 years of the FCJs. I will always remember Mrs Mordan with fondness.
