Anne, you slipped away without a word, you never did like a fuss. We've sang together for so long & had such laughs & memories of trips, singing at weddings etc., & yes there were some sad occasions too but we knew that with the help of the rest of the Folk Group we'd be fine. To Jean, Claire, Gerry, Amy, Liam & the extended Martin & Mulvey families, my heartfelt sympathies at your loss. To Jason, Ria & Callum she was so proud of all of you & loved you to the moon and back. Sing with the Angels now Anne, we'll still sing every song with you in our hearts & we hope you'll still be singing with us. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Dear Claire and Jean,
It was with great sorrow that I learned the terribly sad news of your beloved Mam. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I know your hearts must be broken. Mine is very sad at her passing.

Anne was such a warm, caring, kind, delightful friend, a force of nature! I loved her and she always made me feel happy, energised and glad to be in her company. We shared many happy times and although we hadn’t met for a while, I will miss her and every time I think of her it is with joy.

Sending much love to you both, to your children, to your Daddy and to all Anne’s family and friends who will miss her so much.

To Claire, Jean and all the extended Martin and Mulvey families, my sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved Anne. I had the pleasure of knowing Anne for the past 22 years through the Sacred Heart Folk Group. Although I was only a part-time participant over the past number of years, Anne was always there to welcome me with open arms whenever I came back to sing with the choir or on a night out. We always picked up where we left off. I was in awe of Anne’s amazing talent, her brilliant guitar playing and her beautiful singing voice. Anne always has a smile on her face and was always there to lend an ear and a helping hand when needed. I considered Anne to be a dear friend and will miss her deeply.
