Nan was a dear friend to me over the last few years. It started with dinner and blossomed to being best friends. I loved our chats, our sarcasm with each other and the many laughs we had together. I will miss our daily chats on the phone and our cups of tea with a nice treat. Nan loved her fashion and was very interested in what was happening around town. Most of all, Nan was caring and thoughtful, had a witty sense of humour and she gave good advice. I will really miss you Nan but I know I will always have our beautiful memories forever in my heart. You are back with Michael now x RIP Nan. Love you always, Ger xx

She was a lovely little lady always so friendly and with a great and witty sense of humour
in the post office nothing fazed her she said it as it was very straightforward but with a warm and friendly manner
In the past few years in the Tesco post office were she would work the odd day
She remembered me from years ago and always asked about my children
And would say how she remembered them as little ones in the post office getting sweets
A sharp intelligent woman was Nan and always so glamorous

Nanette,John and Mike. So sorry to hear of Nan"s passing. She was a great character. She really missed your dad when he passed and now she is at peace with him. She has had many a laugh with Ger in the past few years. For many years she had a chat with people in the post office, especially on Fridays. It is the end of an era. Rest in peace Nan.

We met often at family events when she was lively, witty, intelligent, curious and always straight talking!
