May Nancy rest in God's peace. May the beautiful verse of poetry written by our mutual cousin, Father Charles Leo O'Donnell (1884-1934)(President of the University of Notre Dame, Indiana) upon the death of his mother, convey our sentiments: 'Dear heart, in gardens of the ever fair/ Long summer of the saints/ I know you walk, unchanged, in a gentler air, /Where the breath of roses faints/ And, no eyes are happier than yours in Paradise'. Nancy's Altnagapple great-grandparents, Bridget and Anthony O'Donnell, whose marriage is recorded in the newspaper 'The Londonderry Sentinel' of February, 1872), would be most proud of her achievements as stated in her obit.

My sincere sympathy to Malachy, Noel, Dermot and all Nancy’s family and friends on the death of Nancy. I first met Nancy in Loreto Hall in September 1959. Instead of settling in, Nancy suggested that we go around and help others settle. Her kindness and thoughtfulness was boundless. I will be forever grateful for having had Nancy in my life. She was wonderful in every way. Rest in peace dear Nancy.
