Sincere sympathy to Brian and John on their mum's passing. We have been away and I learned the sad news only today. I was so impressed by the kind and careful way she looked after Brian over the years despite her own back problems. She was so pleasant to talk to on the phone and indeed when I visited. May she rest in peace.

Nancy was a beautiful lady in every way. I honestly never met a kinder, more generous person. I’ll never forget her giving me a bundle of Australian dollars in a card when I moved to Australia in 1998. And the most beautiful message. And I was only her daughter-law, Tara’s sister. She just was so kind. She often wrote to me in Australia too. So thoughtful.

I will always remember her incredible Mrs Doyle (of Fr. Ted) style hospitality over all the years. The flow of wonderful sandwiches and cake and cups of tea in Goatstown. Her cheeky laugh and smiling eyes too.

Rest In Peace now dear, lovely Nancy after a life well-lived. 💜🌸 👼
