Anne Nyhan
(née Ryan)

I remember Anne as the young, gifted teacher who taught me for a while when I was in fifth class. She brought a vibrancy to the classroom that has always stayed with me. I later enjoyed reading her articles. Anne wrote a particularly evocative piece about the old swimming place in Mitchelstown, that has likewise stayed with me. She was a gifted communicator and it was a privilege to have known her. On behalf of ourselves and my parents, Jim and Máire O'Regan, our sincere condolences to Conor and all her family. We were very saddened to learn of the untimely death of Anne. We grew up just around the corner from Anne and have many happy memories of her from our childhood and schooldays.
