Certainly, heaven is rejoicing for another soul has finally reached her true home.

Such a lovely woman with a lovely family. I grew up on the estate while she lived in the gap, and everyone had lovely time and memories of Anne. She was so kind to us even when we were all messing in the gap.

It is with great sorrow and shock that I have learned of the unexpected death of dear Anne. I send my sincere sympathy to Marianne, John, and all the O'Dwyer and Shanahan families. Anne was a great friend of my late husband Donal, as they worked together in the Clonmel Nationalist newspaper for many years. She was a very calm and gentle person, interested in people and always treating them with heartfelt kindness. She will be sadly missed. May she rest in the arms of the angels.
