I’m remembering Patricia about the time I met your Mother in Gorey Hill, and of course Mairead and Anne and yourself. You all welcomed me to your home. Mrs Roche was a very gentle lady and always greeted me with a little smile. It was a pleasure to know you all and I hope your memories of Anne and Mairead will give you some consolation.

It was my pleasure to spend time with Anne each Wednesday for a time till she moved to Oakfield. She was a genuinely good person who enjoyed walking and talking, poems and crosswords and other activities which challenged her agile brain.
