To Mary, Áine, Frank, Margo, Maureen, and Eileen—I was so deeply saddened to hear of Anne’s sudden passing. She was a devoted sister, mother, and grandmother, but to us, she was simply a wonderful, irreplaceable friend.

Anne had that rare gift of brightening any room she entered; there were truly no 'bad days' when you were in her company. With her sharp wit, her iconic turn of phrase, and a heart big enough to welcome everyone into her home, she made us all feel like family. We are all better for having known her, and our world feels a little dimmer without her light.
